This week has been pretty insane! I have been all over Finland and all over Tampere.
First of all, the temple thing, you can send as many names as you can and I can ask other missionaries to do them with me! That would be super cool!
Brittany Spencer going to Sweden huh? Thats super good to heqar though! I now will have like 5 friends in Sweden! Crazy! I dont know if I am allowed to do this but I have decided that I want to learn Swedish. I translated church for some Swedes and it would have been super cool if I could speak Swedish. Also there are a lot of Swedish speaking people here in Tampere. Plus Swedish is super cool!
Well, its been a long week and we got a lot to recap!
Tuesday, Elder Durrant and I left to Helsinki, from Kuopio. We stopped in Tampere and we dropped my stuff off, including my bike, at the new apartment. We then hopped right back on a train to go to Helsinki. We slept the night at the mission office on the floor and then woke up early to go to the trainers meeting!
The trainers meeting was nuts. President Rawlings was there and we learned a ton. It also made me a little more scared about having a new companion. Elder Jefferies is training and he is no longer a ZL just a DL but he stills does FHE after BYC. haha and dont worry Im still gonna go to BYU! Tehe Im done.
We met all the incoming missionaries and then sat down with President in the chapel underneath the mission office. I counted it and one third of our mission was in that room. That means a third of our mission is training right now! We finally broke 100 missionaries in Finland this week as well.
President explained how he chooses companions and then told us all who our new companion would be. My companion is Elder Chapman from California. He is a stud and is really great to work with. We then were thrown right onto a train to Tampere. Just before we got on our train a drunk guy came up to my new companion and said something and then grabbed his name tag and threw it across the station! That tells you a lot about Finland and how safe it is because that is the worst thing that has ever happened that I have ever seen. We arrived and got everything back to the apartment. We opened up the Area Book and realized we have absolutely nothing! No investigators! This is pretty sweet because we can start over with a clean slate.

Being honest it has been quite hard this week getting to know Tampere. We basically only use busses here. The routes are confusing to me because I have never used a bus in my whole life! We are managing though. No ferries... darn! Its fun though because on the bus people have to talk to you! So, it helps with that a lot!
Its been raining and cold here the last few days. We did service this morning for an old couple in our ward and it was raining and cold and I was soaking wet the whole time. I decided that after my mission I am going to Mexico to be at the beach! Im already thinking about warm beaches and its not even winter yet! Im gonna cry!
The sisters in our area have helped a ton this week its not even funny! They set up Dinner appointments for us and helped us get there. It was super nice. Its also really helpful that my companion speaks Finnish so well! He literally understands the grammar perfectly and he corrects me! The Dinner appointments helped a lot because we didnt have any food in the new apartment!
There was no snow in Tampere but Kuopio was covered in snow when I left!
Not much else to report on today. Its really good to hear that everyone is doing well at home. Keep doing great and good luck in all the things you do!

I guess my Brittany is going to freeze :). I told her that when she gets to Sweden she needs to wave to Spencer across the Baltic sea!
