MISSIONARY PURPOSE

My purpose as a missionary is to “invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end.”

Thoughts after arriving at the MTC: "It's been super awesome hearing about all the mission calls everyone is getting! The work is moving faster and faster every day! It becomes more and more apparent when you see 1,000 missionaries come in every Wednesday!"

Thoughts after leaving the MTC: "It’s a testimony just knowing that the church is right. The things that we’ve learned are true and real. The way I talk about the gospel now is different. The gospel is something that requires action and action is what God wants. It is real. This is what the world needs and I am engaged in the Lord’s work!"

Thoughts after 18 months: “I feel like I can handle anything now! I've learned how I will have a burning witness of the restored church until the day I die. That will be done by constantly seeking out answers to my questions.”

Fwd: Miikael Hyrkas

This came from a friend of Spencer's. Her name was Aubree. They swam together.l in High School. The person in this picture was on a mission here from Finland. He just finished and returned to his home there where he met Spencer. They figured out that they both knew Aubree from Mesa and he sent her this picture. Pretty cool!
