MISSIONARY PURPOSE

My purpose as a missionary is to “invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end.”

PROGRESSION LINE UPON LINE

Thoughts after arriving at the MTC: "It's been super awesome hearing about all the mission calls everyone is getting! The work is moving faster and faster every day! It becomes more and more apparent when you see 1,000 missionaries come in every Wednesday!"

Thoughts after leaving the MTC: "It’s a testimony just knowing that the church is right. The things that we’ve learned are true and real. The way I talk about the gospel now is different. The gospel is something that requires action and action is what God wants. It is real. This is what the world needs and I am engaged in the Lord’s work!"

Thoughts after 18 months: “I feel like I can handle anything now! I've learned how I will have a burning witness of the restored church until the day I die. That will be done by constantly seeking out answers to my questions.”

Thoughts after 24 months: "..."

Yellow, how ya blue´n?

Dear Family & Friends,

Thank you so much for all the letters of encouragement! This truly is the Lords work so in reality I have nothing to worry about! I am really proud of everybody´s efforts to invite people to the Temple!

This week I reflected on teamwork. Teamwork is like a snow flake in a snow storm. Sometimes we should forget the treacherously turbulent moments and, in the morning, look around at what we have accomplished together!

We got a pretty good amount of snow this week. It is currently 12 below outside! Not too bad but enough to freeze the liquid contents of ones nose!

This week I was ready to do whatever it took. We planned a great week and we hit it hard. We had one day with 6 planned lessons. We scheduled 2 hours inbetween each meeting so we could have time to talk with people along the way! At the end of that day we had 10 Gospel discussions! We ended the week with 34 total lessons! It was truly a miraculous week!

In response to my re dedication of myself, I began making graphs to track our productivity during the weeks. They are pretty cool! Its cool to see the progress for last week to this week! Ill send pictures!

My favorite member in Finland from Mikkeli has a brother who is inactive here in Tampere. We really worked hard to get with him this week. We finally did and he invited us over to do service at his house. We did service with electricity! It was super fun.

BTW we found out who the new mission president is today.

At the end of our time with this member he asked us if we would like to taste a candy called Lemon Revenge! We took one and within three seconds of sucking on the candy I thought I was going to die. This thing was ridiculous! My whole body was experiencing the power of this candy! I was completely sweaty afterwards. It was really unbelievable how spicy this thing was. I will be sending some home for you to try but only Cameron and Dallin can have one. I think it might be dangerous for anyone else to eat it! It was a great experience really!

I told a family here that Root Beer is my favorite drink on Christmas. They invited us over for dinner and they had ordered Root Beer on Amazon and had it for us! I almost cried! It was a great week!

Another day this week we had 3 Dinner appointments in a row! It was epic!

I am really trying to keep a good diet but these members just wont stop feeding us!

Everybody have a great week!

Pyhä means holy haha

Here is the total lessons graph. The legend is on the bottom right! This is how I can now monitor our productivity!

A member made this for us and mine broke before I got it into the package!
